hard core conservation

if you’re here in austin, you know about the weather we’re experiencing.
if you’re living elsewhere, picture a bunch of people who have learned to handle 103 degree days for 3 months of the year trying to survive with temps in the teens.  yes, yes…the fact that things are being canceled because it’s “too cold” might make you laugh (as it does myself) but have some compassion for our cold tushes and cut us a break! ;)

most of my friends would consider me to be more ecofriendly than the rest.   so naturally, one of the things that attracts me to chris is that he is pretty much equals me in desire to recycle and conserve.

however, i as the temps in our house have gone down with the temps outside, i realize he’s more hardcore than i.  boooooooooooooooooooooo!! (and brrrrrrrrrrrr!)

Hmm…yes, 63F may sound cold; but, as a temperature difference between the inside and outside, it’s nearly 40F. Yaup, it’s 25F in Austin right now…with a low projected to be in the low teens tonight. Yay.

So if you’re feeling cold…hop outside for a few minutes, and then come back inside. You’ll notice the difference pretty quickly. :)

No, 63 is crazy cold, we like 69 here in Indiana where it’s regularly below freezing! You need a space heater or something.
