livin life offline

i don’t normally post on friday mornings cause i leave the day for friday 5 however, i’m making an exception this morning.
though my last post was less than a week ago, it feels like it’s been a lot longer.  january was my most prolific month of blogging since i began so the stretch since experimentaTION has been the longest in a while.

it’s not that i’ve not thought about posts or wanted to write.  in fact, with yet another coworker joining the blog train, blogs and posting has been a big topic of conversation throughout my days.
the problem is that i’ve been too busy livin’ life offline.

my days have really been too full for her sweet nothings. Read the rest of this entry »

one little hour can make such a huge difference

this morning, i’ve never been happier to wake to a text.  no, that’s not true.  there was one time i was pretty stinkin delighted.  ok.  regardless, i loved this morning’s text cause it was to tell me that our school day would not begin until 9am.

the customer’s always right

i decided to pick up some coffee on my way to bible study last night. (shocking, i know ;) ) after i placed my order, a quick survey of the lone barista let me know i should ask him to ring up my drink the cheaper way since he wouldn’t do it naturally. so, i say, “hey, could you please ring that up as a venti instead of a grande, add shot?” (since venti americanos get four shots and i ordered a quad grande…same coffee, smaller cup, higher concentration.) he kinda huffs and says, “okay…but you know i’m not supposed to do that. it should be totaled as what you ordered.” this bothered me more than a little.
